Adolfo Domínguez achieves positive profits in the first half of the year for the first time in 15 years and earns 79,000 euros

Adolfo Dominguez has achieved a net profit of 79,000 euros in its first fiscal semester (March to August), which contrasts with the losses of 625,000 euros recorded a year earlieraccording to the information that has been sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The designer fashion brand has highlighted that, despite three consecutive years with profits, it is the first time in fifteen years that makes profits in the first half.
The fashion brand has pointed out in the report sent to the CNMV that “the combination of stronger gross margin and efficient management of operating expenses boosts EBITDA by 8.3 million euros, 37.2% more than in the first half of the previous year, marking the highest level since 2010.” Likewise, he noted that the good result “is supported by the profitability of key marketswith solid performance in Europe and notable international growth (Middle East, Latin America and Mexico), reflecting the strength of the business model and discipline in operational execution.”
The turnover for the first half of the fiscal year 2025-2026 of Adolfo Domínguez has exceeded 65 million euros, which represents an increase of 5.4% compared to the period between March and August 2024 and marks the best result since 2012. In addition, the company has recorded a gross operating result (ebitda) of 8.3 million euros, 37.2% higher than the first half of the previous year, reaching its highest level since 2010. The company’s semiannual gross margin has reached 58%, 1.6 points more than in the same period of 2024.
Cost optimization
The firm has assured that “in addition to this improvement is the logistics chain cost optimizationfavored by the better market situation, which has allowed offset the negative impact of the higher tariff in Mexico; Taken together, these factors reflect efficient management and consolidate the positive evolution of operational profitability.” Comparable sales have grown by 7.4%until reaching 605 million euros. Specifically, the firm improved its comparable sales, with increases of 15.4% in Mexico and 44.4% in the rest of the world, where it has 178 stores.
5.9% growth in sales in Spain
The company, led by Adriana Domínguez, has highlighted, in particular, the performance in the Spanish market, with comparable sales growth of 5.9%with a weight on total sales of 57% (compared to 60% in 2024) as well as good data in online sales, with a year-on-year increase of 16.1%, which already represent 14% of the total. The net result stood at 0.1 million eurosshowing an improvement of 0.7 million euros compared to the first half of 2024/25, which confirms the favorable evolution on the profitability path.
