Argentina develops a new software for Ethereum

A team of Argentine developers, led by the Startup Class Lambda founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2014, works in Ethrex, a new execution client for the Ethereum Network, according to Fede Intern in X on June 6.

“Ethrex is on the way to becoming the sixth execution client of Ethereum, along with Geth, Nethermind, Besu, Eregon and Reth,” said Fede Intern.

An execution client is an essential software that processes transactions, executes intelligent contracts and maintains the operational Ethereum network. A greater amount of these clients promotes greater decentralizationsince software diversity reduces risks of centralized failures and encourages network resilience.

In that sense, «most chains do not even have two execution clients; Ethereum has six, ”said Ryan Sean Adams, an investor and cryptocurrency analyst.

As explained by the Argentine developer, «We are the first team in Latin America in developing such a client. I think we are also the first great non -American or European team working with so many engineers and researchers in the nucleus of ZK and Ethereum ».

Ethrex was born with the purpose of Simplify Ethereum infrastructure. According to a blog last May by Class Lambda, many current cryptocurrency tools and libraries have excessive complexity, with redundant modules and little legible code.

Ethrex aims to offer a minimalist, modular and efficient alternative, facilitating developers the deployment of solutions such as ROLLUPS Based on zero knowledge technology (ZK).
