Mapfre raises the technical interest on its annuities to 3.15%
Mapfre has decided raise technical interest by 0.15 percentage points that it offers to its clients in their annuity insurance, reaching 3.15%, as reported in a statement.
This interest is not the interest that clients finally perceive, since depending on the product and the type of customer the type Final interest may vary.
“It should be noted that life annuities benefit from a tax reduction percentage, which will depend on the age of the recipient in the moment of the constitution of the income”, explains the insurer. Some of Mapfre’s annuity types can be contracted up to age 95.
The insurer has also decided to incorporate a series of assistance services into these income insurance policies: telephone advice for dependency situations and up to 30 hours of help for people with personal care, home care or physical therapy sessions.
