Sky Mavis He also detailed that a part of the funds will be used to cover the expenses of those who made an effort to recover them. “15% of the recovered assets will be used to cover the costs and expenses incurred by those participating in the recovery efforts. The remaining 85% of the recovered funds will be deposited in Axie Infinity’s treasury.”

He added that law enforcement authorities have so far frozen about $40 million in separate assets linked to the hack. The company has promised to get them back, but has not provided a specific timeline for the return.
