The important notice from ING to its clients that affects the withdrawal of money at ATMs
ING is informing its clients of a series of changes that will come starting July 15 and that affect the withdrawal of money from ATMs. The entity has very few of its own ATMs distributed throughout Spain, although it solves this by offering its clients the possibility of withdraw money from ATMs of other banking entities with which it has reached a prior agreement. However, for this withdrawal of money with the debit card to be free, there is a minimum amount which varies depending on the bank in question.
“Soon The withdrawal conditions will change to debit in some ATMs”, ING has notified its customers via email. Specifically, the affected ATMs are those that until now allowed a minimum withdrawal of 200 euros without charging commissions.
Thus, as of July 15, ING indicates that the minimum amount of money to be withdrawn from these ATMs without charging commissions must be, at least, 250 euros. That is, if you withdraw less than that amount, the operation will not be free.

This change does not apply to all ATMs, and ING has provided a list of available banks to withdraw money by debit without commissions.
Thus, in the ING ATMs, Euronet ATMs, Cashzone, Banca March and Euro Automatic Cash You can continue withdrawing money at no cost, and without taking into account any minimum amount.
For its part, in the Euro 6000 network ATMs (Unicaja Banco, Kutxabank, Ibercaja, ABANCA, Bankinter, Cajasur, Caixa Ontinyent, Caja de Ingenieros, Arquia Banca, Caixa Pollença and EVO Banco), you can continue withdrawing a minimum of 50 euros without any cost. “If you withdraw a lower amount, the commission charged by the entity that owns the ATM will be applied,” warns ING.
