The network of universities for the promotion of research in information and communication technologies, UxTIC, in partnership with Hong Kong company for asset tokenization, DualMint, announced the launch of a free real-world asset tokenization course with NFT in technology Blockchain, which is aimed on this occasion at media workers.
Tokenization course for journalists
According to information provided by the team UxTIC, The training program is completely free and will be offered virtually for those who have registered. There will be a total of four sessions, which will formally begin on Thursday, July 11 via Zoom, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (Colombia time).
As for the course, the developers indicate that “provides a panoramic view of the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) through NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens)”which covers technical, economic and legal aspects. The fundamentals of cryptocurrencies, technology and the Internet of Things will also be reviewed. Blockchain, smart contracts, and will explore how NFT They are changing sectors such as art, music, video games, intellectual property and many others.
Regarding the benefits of the program, it reads:
Participants will understand the technical concepts of tokenization and be able to explain them clearly and accurately to their audience when covering stories about how blockchain technology is changing the way we interact with digital assets and finance in general. Course participants need to be aware of the issues, ethical questions, and regulatory challenges surrounding NFTs in order to report on them in a balanced and comprehensive manner.
The level of the program is basic and is aimed at addressing the following objectives:
- Improve general knowledge about cryptoassets and NFT
- Study use cases of NFT in different industries and sectors.
- Assessing the challenges and opportunities of real-world asset tokenization (RWA).
About the training program
As already mentioned, the program will be completely free and will be broadcast virtually. It is structured in a total of 16 hours, divided into four modules of four hours each, at the rate of one session per week.
The course formally begins next Thursday, July 11, and ends on August 1. On July 4 at 7:30 a.m. there will be an in-person launch at the University of Catalonialocated at Carrera 18B # 106A – 15, Bogotá, where the study program and allies will be formally presented and all associated questions will be answered.
