CaixaBank remodels its management committee and places Jordi Mondéjar in charge of Business

This Thursday, the board of directors of CaixaBank remodeled its Management Committee with the appointment of Jordi Mondéjar as the new Business Director, replacing Jaume Masanawho will become general director of SegurCaixa Adeslas, replacing Javier Murillo.
With these changes, CaixaBank “adapts to an increasingly digital environment, drives technological disruption and simplifies its organizational structure,” the entity said in a statement.
CaixaBank has explained that Murillo will remain as general director of SegurCaixa Adeslas, supported by Jaume Masana as deputy general director, until his replacement, which is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2026, “to facilitate a structured transition.”

The new Credit Risk Admission and Monitoring department will be led by Manuel Galarza, until now director of Compliance, Control and Public Affairs; while Risk Management and Compliance will be directed by Natividad Capella, who will join the management committee.
For its part, Mariona Vicens maintains the direction of Digital Transformation and Advanced Analytics, which will also group the Payments & Consumer and imagin areas, and Jordi Nicolau and Anna Canela will continue as CEOs of, respectively, CaixaBank Payments & Consumer and imagin.
Finally, the Accounting, Management Control and Capital department, which directs Matthias Bulach, It will also integrate the Public Affairs area.
