lowers the fixed price for children on its Avlo trains

Renfe has introduced as of this Tuesday a Reduced flat rate of 5 euros for children between 4 and 14 years old who travel on its Avlo trains, the same fixed rate that the French company Ouigo has in that same age group.
Besides, Children under 4 years old who do not occupy a seat will travel for free, for which they must obtain the corresponding ticket free of charge (maximum one child for each paid ticket).
The 5 euro fare will be limited to a maximum of two tickets of child for each adult traveler, as reported by the railway operator in a statement.
“With this improvement in product conditions, Renfe reinforces its commitment to families traveling with children, offering high-speed tickets for journeys from center to center of the city at the best price and with all the comforts that characterize Avlo trains,” he argues.
Additionally, travelers can personalize their ticket with additional services such as seat selection, extra luggage, changes and cancellationsor the option of traveling with a pet. Members of the Más Renfe Silver, Gold or Platinum program can also access the Club Rooms at the stations.
