Mapfre accumulates 3,600 million in managed savings for its clients’ retirement

The insurer Mapfre accumulate a assets of 3,600 million euros in savings products for the retirement of which some 240,000 clients are holders, as reported by the entity this Friday in a statement.
By products, the entity manages a volume of individual pension plans exceeding 2,350 million eurosto which are added another more than 1,000 million euros in collective pension plans and Voluntary Social Security Entities (EPSV), both individual and collective.
The rest of the managed assets are located in other types of savings products, such as PIAS or Sialp. 20% of the 3.6 billion that Mapfre accumulates is actively managed.
“The important thing is not so much in which product you save for retirement, since each one has specific characteristics, but create a savings habit“said the commercial director of Mapfre Iberia, Javier Oliveros.
Currently, around 58,000 Mapfre clients complement their retirement with a monthly income coming from a product contracted with the company for this purpose. The average amount of this income is greater than 800 euros per month.
