Mapfre boosts its profit by almost 27%, to 829 million, due to the growth of the non-life business

Mapfre achieved a net profit of 829 million in the first nine months of 2025, which represents an increase of 26.8% with respect to the same period of the previous year, as reported to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The net result has been influenced by the increase in the technical result and the gross financial result of the non-life business; for the results of the branch of life, especially in Iberia and Latin America; and by the net realized capital gains, which have been in line with those of last year.

However, Mapfre reports that, following prudent criteria, it has recorded a net negative impact of 79 million, of which 38 million correspond to the partial impairment of Mexico’s goodwill and the rest, to the cancellation of deferred tax assets in Italy and Germany (-31 and -9 million respectively). Without these effects, the result at closing of September 2025 would be 908 million.

Premiums grew by 3.5%, to 22,383 million, impacted by currency movements. At constant exchange rates, premiums rose 7.8%, with Non-Life rising 6.3% and Life 13.6%. On the other hand, the board of directors has approved an interim dividend for the current year of 0.07 euros per share, which will be paid on November 28.
