The five new stores that Lidl will open in Spain this November



Lidl continue with your expansion in Spain in a “sustained and sustainable” way with the inauguration of five new supermarkets throughout the month of November after investing 25 million eurosas reported by the company in a statement.

Specifically, the supermarket chain will open the doors this month to new spaces that will be located in the towns of Navalcarnero (Community of Madrid), L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Catalonia), Jaén (Andalusia), Alhaurín de la Torre (Andalusia) and Salamanca (Castilla y León).

In this way, the launch of these points of sale will mean the creation of more than 120 stable and quality jobs. Together, these actions will mean for the company to have 7,000 square meters of additional commercial spaceconsolidating a network that already exceeds 700 points of sale in Spain.

Thus, the brand’s customers will be able to find in these new establishments the company’s usual assortment, which covers a wide variety of fresh products (fruit and vegetables, meat and fish or freshly baked bread and pastries) and multiple refrigerator items, packaged dry goods, beverages, cosmetics, personal hygiene and cleaning. All of this is complemented by an offer of regional references, exclusive bazaar products and the usual international food theme weeks.

Lidl has indicated that The materialization of these openings is key to the continuation of its expansion plan in Spainwhich is governed by sustainability criteria and a long-term vision to strengthen its national presence.

Almost fifty inaugurations

The company’s roadmap for fiscal year 2025 includes an investment aimed at opening close to 50 establishments throughout Spain. Of these, around 40 points will be newly created and the remainder will focus on the modernization and expansion of existing centers in order to improve the shopping experience.

In addition, the chain has reinforced its logistics infrastructure with the recent opening of a center in Constantí (Tarragona) and the launch of the Martorell (Barcelona) facilities, a project that represents Lidl’s most significant logistics investment in the country in its more than 30 years of history.
