The new service that Iberia will offer free to its customers on all its flights

Iberia is going to offer all its customers a new and improved on-board connectivity system. IAG, the group to which the airline belongs, has just signed a strategic alliance with Starlink, the world’s leading provider of satellite internet developed by SpaceX.
Thanks to this agreement, as reported by the airline, Iberia will have a high-speed WiFi service on all its flightsboth long and short radius. The service will be free for all customers (tourist, premium tourist and Business) and represents a qualitative leap in the onboard experience that gives the customer the possibility of being connected throughout the flight. This initiative, which will begin to be implemented in 2026, will allow Iberia customers to enjoy a connection experience on board similar to that at home.
Thanks to Starlink’s advanced technologyairline customers will be able to have access to high-speed internet anywhere on the planeteven in areas without coverage such as the poles. This advancement ensures that Iberia customers can stay connected throughout the flight, regardless of the route or destination.
Starlink technology, based on the connectivity of thousands of satellites in low orbit, will offer download speeds of up to 450 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 70 Mbpswhich will allow access to entertainment platforms in streamingworking in the cloud, playing online and many other possibilities.
