It has a portfolio of 20 references and is expected to close the year with a turnover of 40 million of euros.
Shaken Udder will operate as an independent business unit within Idilia, which with this purchase strengthens its position in the smoothies category after closing compares it to 50% of Cacaolat in June of last year. Boost to international business
Idilia, which already has a staff of 335 peoplewanted to give an important boost to its international business after its first purchase outside of Spain. Specifically, they hope that Foreign business accounts for 20% of turnover at the end of next year. For this move it has received advice from EY – Parthenon and Cliffford Chance.
The CEO of Idilia, Xavi Pons, has not hidden his satisfaction and does not hide the opportunity of the movement for his strategy: “Shaken Udder has an optimal fit in Idilia’s strategic approach and helps us take our corporate purpose much further: to create those small, great moments of pleasure and positive emotions, which contribute to people’s emotional well-being.” For Pons, the operation is carried out in one category, smoothies, “where we can add value and from the hand of a beloved, pioneering and unique brand”.
