The official account of the president of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, on the social network X today made a publication on Bitcoin (BTC) that would be part of a hacking. This was quickly clarified by the presidency from his official account.
The publication of the President’s account announces, in English, that Bitcoin has become legal tender in the country. And it also points out that confirms access to a 5 million dollars reserve (USD) and bonds for citizens enabled for cryptocurrencies, saying that “your investment today will determine the scale of this deployment.”
