Iberia offers 1.8 million seats this Christmas after reinforcing the most popular destinations



The Iberia Group -which brings together Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum- has been scheduled for this Christmas, between December 19, 2025 and January 7, 2026, 11,578 flights and 1,887,989 seats to facilitate travel for its customers, a figure that exceeds the 1.12 million seats last year.

The company has reinforced its operations during this period in the European cities with the greatest demand, adding additional frequencies. In the case of Prague, five extra frequencies have been incorporated; four in Budapest; two more in Vienna; and an additional one in Stockholm, Oslo, Geneva and Zurich.

In addition, Iberia offers up to 11 daily frequencies to Paris, up to 10 to London, up to 7 daily frequencies to Rome, up to 6 to Lisbon and up to 4 to Vienna. Among the destinations preferred by Iberia customers, in the domestic market, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Tenerife stand out; in Europe, Paris and London; and in Latin America, Mexico, Bogotá and Buenos Aires.

Besides, On December 21, direct flights to Innsbruck resume for the second consecutive year, with two weekly frequencies. This city in Austria is known for its ski slopes and its traditional Christmas markets.

Tromso, in Norway, will have two weekly frequencies, on Thursdays and Sundays, which will allow travel to see the northern lights and do arctic activities such as dog sledding or whale watching.

On the other hand, Rovaniemi, capital of Lapland and city where Santa Claus’s house is located, It has four weekly frequencies from Madrid, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

For travelers looking for warmer temperatures, Iberia offers two new routes that have just opened: Recife, in the northeast of Brazil, where the company flies three times a week, and Orlando in central Florida, known worldwide for its theme parks. Iberia operates this destination with four weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).
