Repsol accelerates its electric mobility network and signs with Kia the fifth alliance with manufacturers in 2025

Repsol redoubles its commitment to electric mobility with the renewal of its strategic alliance with Kia. The energy multinational signs a new agreement with the South Korean manufacturer that will allow its clients to access comprehensive solutions that include the installation of charging points both in their homes and in companies, as well as additional advantages linked to the contracting of energy services. In addition, the more than 175 electric chargers located in Kia dealerships may be available to the general public through their integration into the Waylet network.
This type of agreement opens the door for customers who purchase a home charger to benefit from a special price agreed between both companieswith Repsol managing all the installation and processing of aid. In addition, by contracting an electricity rate and maintaining the charging point with Repsol, users will receive additional benefits, such as balance in the Waylet app, discounts on the electricity bill and benefits on recharges from the Repsol public network.
The expansion of its alliance with kia completes the ‘little hand’ of agreements to which Repsol has put the seal this year in order to weave a network of partners within the Spanish automobile industry. Weeks ago, the group chaired by Antonio Brufau and directed by Josu Jon Imaz expanded its collaboration with toyota to the multi-technology scene with electric, light and gas charging solutions, renewable fuels, solar panels, emissions compensation and energy efficiency for customers, dealers and Toyota employees in Spain.
A few days before, at the end of November, the company sealed a new alliance with Mazda to facilitate the purchase and recharging of the electric car. Thanks to this agreement, customers who purchase an electric vehicle from the Japanese company can access the integrated commercial solutions of the multi-energy company. They complete the alliances signed this year nissanwith whom it extended its agreement to offer free energy, equivalent to more than 10,000 kilometers per year, to electric vehicles and EVO -the car brand of the Italian group DR Automobiles- with which it closed a framework collaboration agreement in Spain to promote the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), also known as autogas.
In terms of electric mobility, Repsol has deployed more than 2,800 operational electric charging pointswhich are distributed in service stations, supermarkets, parking lots and public roads. Thanks to the interoperability agreements reached with Waylet, customers can also access a network of more than 7,000 charging points in a single application.
