IAG joins the bid to buy 44.9% of the Portuguese company TAP against Air France and Lufthansa



IAG – the airline group that controls Iberia, British Airways and Vueling, among others – makes official its interest in participating in the privatization of the Portuguese airline TAP, which has put 44.9% of its capital on the table for private investors. In a statement, the Spanish-British holding company formalizes its interest one day before the first phase of the sale process concludes and emphasizes that “several conditions would have to be addressed” before proposing an investment.
