Iberia will launch a new direct line to Mexico in June with flights between Madrid and Monterrey

Iberia will premiere On June 2, a new route will connect Madrid with Mexicospecifically to Monterrey, and which is added to the three daily connections that the company already has established between Spain and the North American country.
This was announced this Tuesday by the president and CEO of the company, Marco Sansaviniduring his participation in the Fitur press conference as president of the Organizing Committee of the tourist fair.
Sansavini has taken advantage of the presence of representatives from Mexico, which will be the Fitur partner country of this 2026 edition, to announce this new route, which it considers to be “a small grain of sand” by Iberia so that Mexico’s connectivity continues to develop.
On the other hand, Sansavini has indicated that Fitur “is not just a fair”but it is a place “where strategic ties are defined” and that offers the opportunity to be a “innovation engine” for the tourism sector.
