Specifically, next month the supermarket chain expands its presence in Catalonia, the Community of Madrid and Andalusia, three strategic regions of the company for its expansion.
These openings are part of the national expansion plan of the company, whose objective is to bring its offer of quality products at low prices to more homes.
The company’s growth at the end of the year is concentrated in regions where it already has a strong presence. At the beginning of December it will grow in the province of Córdoba, with its first stores in the Córdoba municipalities of Palma del Río and Pozoblanco.
Throughout the month it will also expand its presence in Dos Hermanas, where it will open its fourth store, after opening the third in October. In this city, the company also has the logistics platform that supplies Andalusia and part of Extremadura. In total, there are more than 110 supermarkets and 1,500 workers in the region.
In Catalonia, where it has nearly 110 stores and more than 1,500 workers, the brand will expand its growth in the province of Barcelona in the coming months with its first supermarket in Pallejà (Barcelona) and another store in the Catalan capitalon Rosselló Street. The company has also announced a new store in early 2026 at the Mercat Montserrat in Barcelona.
While In the Community of Madrid, Aldi arrives in Getafe, one of the most populated municipalities in the region, where it has nearly 70 supermarkets and more than 1,200 workers in the Madrid community.
