Retirees who will not receive extra pay

As reported by Social Security, not all retirees will receive the extraordinary payment for December. Among the excluded groups are those whose pensions for permanent disability, widowhood or orphanhood come from a work accident or occupational disease, since in these cases The two additional payments are prorated within the 12 ordinary monthly payments.

Added to this group are pensioners recognized as of November 30 or those who have had their benefit suspended during the accrual period.

On the contrary, if the permanent disability, orphanhood or widowhood results from a common illness or non-work accident, the beneficiaries will receive the corresponding 14 payments. In addition, those who receive the gender gap supplement – ​​financial aid linked to the number of children – will also be entitled to extra pay. According to the usual calendar of the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS), said payment is made legally between December 1 and 4. But, in practice, most banking entities choose to advance this income so that the beneficiaries can receive the amount at the end of November.
