Ibercaja renews agreement with Intrum for the management of its real estate assets until 2029



Ibercaja has renewed the agreement with Intrum for the management and marketing of its real estate portfolio for another four years. In this way, the collaboration will extend until 2029 to via Solviathe Intrum real estate firmand consolidates an alliance that dates back ten years. The agreement contemplates a portfolio valued at 200 million.

“The renewal of the contract provides a framework of stability and continuity in the management of assets awarded at Ibercaja for the coming years,” he explains. Solvia has more than 135,000 properties of all types, of which 15,000 are rental assets distributed throughout the geography national. During the first nine months of the year it has sold more than 23,000, of which more than half correspond to homes, with a average value of 97,000 euros. The company highlights that these prices helped boost the affordable housing market and offered solutions adapted to different buyer profiles.

Intrum completed the acquisition of Solvia to Banco Sabadell in 2022when it took over the 20% stake that it did not control. Corporate integration It started in 2019 when it acquired 80% of the company with which it sought to reinforce its commitment to the Spanish market. The Swedish group began working with the Catalan firm in 2014, when the group assumed the provision of management and recovery services for the entity’s delinquent assets.

It was not until 2019 when they strengthened their relationship with the closing of the purchase of Solvia Real Estate Services by Intrum and the signing of a management and marketing contract for the foreclosed assets of Banco Sabadell.
