Iberdrola recognizes the solidarity work of four employees in its 2025 International Volunteer Awards



Iberdrola has recognized the solidarity work of four employees with the delivery of their International Volunteer Awards 2025. These awards highlight the dedication, commitment and social impact of the Group’s most active professionals within the company’s International Corporate Volunteer Program.

According to Iberdrola, these awards reflect the breadth of actions carried out by the electricity company in this area and its international dimension.

Laura Cidfrom the Control Department of Iberdrola Spain, has been awarded in the Health and Wellbeing category, for its involvement in cleaning and reconstruction of the towns in the Spanish Levant affected by DANA.

Jodie Dinniefrom the ScottishPower People team in the United Kingdom, has been awarded in the Education category, for its key role in the project Breaking Barrierswhich offers young people with learning difficulties the opportunity to obtain a qualification and professional experience.

Besides, Agata Dietrich-Badziongfrom Iberdrola Renewables Poland, has been recognized in Commitment and Dissemination, for involving more than 100 people in solidarity activities and consolidate corporate volunteering in their country, one of the most recent to join the program.

Finally, Benjamin Shepardresponsible for Avangrid’s NECEC electricity transmission networks project, has stood out in the Environment, for its work in the conservation of natural spaces, with 25 actions so far this year in favor of the environment in the United States.

Iberdrola’s International Corporate Volunteering Program, created in 2006, has consolidated an upward trajectory and It already has more than 23,000 participants which have carried out 9,500 actions in collaboration with more than 2,600 associations. To date, the program has directly benefited more than 14 million people around the world.
