Spaniards will spend almost 200 euros on average in the next winter sales

Spaniards willing to make a purchase in the winter sales plan to spend 197 euros on average in this sales periodan amount that is 16 euros more than last year.

This is reflected in a report prepared by the Spanish Consumer Association (Asescon), which has carried out 2,000 surveys in order to know the purchasing preferences of consumers in this sales period.

85% of those surveyed believe that the sales that begin these days “they are not going to provide any additional discount”considering that throughout the previous months there have already been sales in a certain way and, therefore, what the establishments now advertise as sales has already been offered previously.

Regarding the percentage of consumers who will buy on sales, it stands at 86%, being 10% say they will not make any purchases and 4% are undecided.

A point to highlight from the survey is that 85% consider that the regulations on sales are complied with in general, with 15% therefore thinking that what is legally established is not complied with. One piece of information from the survey related to this is that 67% are unaware of all the rights enjoyed by consumers in this sales period.

Finally, regarding purchasing preferences, 92% of those surveyed have stated that they will make their purchases in clothing and footwear2% in household appliances, 5% in computer products and 1% in other products.

The Spanish Consumer Association advises consumers “make conscious and responsible consumption, which avoids spending more than what is allowed by the family economyespecially in times of economic crisis and high inflation.” “For this it is essential to buy only what is necessary, control the expenditure that is being made, not get carried away by impulses and avoid shopping as a form of leisure,” he recommends.
