Iberia will begin flying to Monterrey in June 2026 and offer 800,000 seats per year to Mexico

Iberia has announced the inauguration of a new flight between Madrid and Monterrey (Mexico) for next June 2, 2026with which the airline reinforces its commitment to the American country by offering up to 800,000 seats over the next year.
The route will start with three weekly frequencies, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Regarding the scheduled flight schedule, The departure from Madrid will be at 12:55, with arrival in Monterrey at 17:25 on the same day. Likewise, the return, departure from the Mexican city, will be at 6:50 p.m., arriving at 1:20 p.m. the next day.
This route will be operated with a Airbus A330-200 airplane with a capacity for 288 passengers distributed in business and tourist cabins.
The Commercial, Customer, Network and Alliances Director of Iberia, María Jesús López Soláshas pointed out that Mexico is an “important, strategic and beloved” market and that it will now reach the highest number of seats offered.
